The objective of our project was to revamp Berlin's official website with a strong emphasis on accessibility. We aimed to make the site user-friendly for everyone by applying color theory principles, selecting accessible fonts, and simplifying its complex architecture into a search-engine-like format for easy navigation. Furthermore, we introduced proactive support, offering users options for enlarged text, accessibility tools, multiple language choices, and direct human assistance via phone or chat. We did extensive User testing to achieve a result that is as universal as possible.
